Is makeup included with the product?

KLIK is the ultimate beauty tool kit made to be used with your personal makeup collection. The product does not come with any makeup already included. But KLIK does include magnetic stickies that you can use to attach your favorite shades to our universal pan!

How many magnet stickies comes with one set? Can I get more?

KLIK comes with 10 rectangular and 10 circular magnetic stickies (20 in total). We will be offering additional stickies for order after the campaign ends.

What brands sell makeup products in single format?

Many brands sell makeup in single format. Most of them are already housed in metal pans, which will automatically stick to the KLIK palette. For those that are housed in a non-magnetic one, a quick stickie will make them KLIK!

How do you remove makeup from their containers?

There are a number of ways to de-pot makeup from their containers:

  1. KLIK Team’s favourite: Slip dental floss around and under the makeup pod and drag the floss in sawing motions to “cut” the glue.

  2. Drop one drop of Surgical Spirit (rubbing alcohol) into the edge between the makeup and the container and see the makeup pod magically un-glue itself.

  3. Use a hair straightener to melt the glue under the makeup pan. Pro tip: Use a wax paper between your hair straightener and the makeup case to avoid dirtying your straightener.

  4. Use a candle or lighter to melt the glue under the makeup pan. Be careful! Pry ‘em out! This is only recommended for products in cardboard or soft plastic cases (eg: Urban Decay Naked palettes)

What if I want a different color?

Our additional color options will be unlocked through our stretch goals. If these goals are met, you will be able to choose other colors in the post-campaign survey!

When will my order ship?

Currently delivery estimates are August-September 2019. We will be keeping you in the loop every step of the manufacturing process all the way through to fulfillment. And, of course, we will let you know when your KLIK is on its way!

Are your brushes cruelty free?

Yes, they certainly are! Our brushes are vegan and cruety-free.

How is shipping and tax handled?

We are shipping to backers all over the world so taxes or duties vary from country to country. All of the shipping fees may be assessed after the campaign as shipping costs may go down depending on the volume of orders per country. We will follow up with our backers before shipping KLIK to confirm mailing address as well as shipping costs. Please note that the backer is responsible for all local taxes including but not limited to sales tax, VAT, GST, and import duties, as apply to them in their respective countries. We will do our best to reduce these fees to keep your costs down.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
