Surveys are out! 

Hurrah!

Surveys have been sent out today. You should have seen an email coming in with your personalized link where you can choose the color of your KLIK and add items to your on-the-go beauty routine.

You are free to edit your order anytime up to June 30, 11:59pm EST. After this, we will be locking your order and your card will be charged then.

For those who are planning a big move, don’t fret - you will be able to change your shipping address up to 3 weeks before our shipping date. We will be announcing the exact date closer to the date.

For our EU backers

As mentioned in our previous update, you will be receiving a credit worth 20% of your pledge that you can apply towards add-ons. This means freebies, yay!

Achieving this isn’t without difficulties, though. We weren’t able to find a way to automatically apply this credit, so we will have to apply them manually. One by one, to all 104 of you.

Because of this extra step, we ask that you remain patient with us. Feel free to select add-ons in your survey adding to an amount worth 20% of your pledge. We will then apply the credit after you complete the survey, usually within 48 hours. Don’t worry, your card will not be charged until June 30 11:59pm EST, and you will have a chance to review the final amounts before your card gets charged.

Please note that the credit can not apply towards shipping fees.

For those of you who accessed the survey prior to this update and wondered about the credit - thank you for your understanding, and for being awesome as always!

Hi lovely backers,

We’re here to let you know that the mold-making process for all your KLIKs has officially started -

Which means we're expecting production-quality samples in a few weeks -

Which means we’re ON! 

For those wondering, the brush manufacturing process goes like this:

• For fast, low-cost mass production, most custom metal and plastic parts require molds. Now molds are usually very expensive upfront, but they work out to be much cheaper per unit if you compare them to other methods of manufacturing. And since we were able to achieve a critical mass through Kickstarter (all because of YOU!), we were able to make molds make sense. And now they're IN in the process of being made!

1. Once the molds are ready — that’s in a few weeks — the brush manufacturers will produce samples for us to review and inspect. We negotiated for a number of sets to be made upfront, which means some of you may become lucky testers to help us refine them prior to the real production run… WHAT. We know, we know, we’re as excited about this as you are, so stay tuned for more news on this!
2. Since we’re always on the lookout to make things better here at KLIK, we have allowed ourselves two months to refine the product and to optimize the manufacturing process based on the lessons we’ve learned from our samples. This is all to ensure that we’re creating only the highest quality KLIKs for our actual production run.
3. Once everything is ready — samples are tested, processes are optimized and parts are complete — then the actual production run can begin. That’s happening in early August. We can’t wait!!
4. The finished products will be fulfilled by August or September depending on your country's postal services. We advise you to keep your eyes peeled on the door, because by then KLIK will be arriving at your doorstep, all glammed up and ready to start traveling with you wherever you go. Hurrah!

Alright, we’re done geeking out. Let’s move on to some of the burning questions you have for us. Bring them on!

Burning question # 1: Help! Kickstarter did not accept my payment!

Many of you have had your payment refused by Kickstarter for various reasons. Now we know how frustrating it can be to enter your payment info only to be declined again and again… and again.

But here’s the good news — once you’ve maxed out on those 3 attempts allowed by Kickstarter, your payments will then be transferred and tracked by our fulfillment partner, BackerKit. 

You can input your payment info in the BackerKit survey that we’ll be sending you in a week or so, and we’ll make sure it won’t be declined ever again!

Burning question # 2: How much is shipping?

Good news! We can now provide accurate shipping quotes per country since we already know the exact items that are going to be included in each set PLUS the special gifts that we’ll be giving away to those who helped us share the campaign.

Shipping can go from a few dollars to many times above that depending on the delivery speed that you want, so we’re looking into providing an express option and an economical option to cater to all needs.

We’ll be letting you know soon enough what the exact shipping quotes are + the rates for the express and economical options, so stay tuned for those!

Burning question # 3: When will we be able to choose our color options?

Once we’ve finalized all the shipping details, we’ll be releasing the BackerKit survey where you will be able to choose your color option. It’s that easy!

Some of you have also voiced out that you wanted to purchase more trays for pre-organized palettes and on-the-go tray swapping, so we will be providing that option for you as well. 

Some of you have also requested for more brush heads — we heard you and we’re working on it by discussing this option with our manufacturer. We got you!

Last 24 hours before our campaign ends! It’s been an amazing journey so far and we can’t tell you enough how grateful we are for your support this entire time.
